Cap on subsidised LPG cylinders is a good move

These numbers are the subsidized LPG cylinders delivered to the house of the ministers when the subsidy burden on LPG is estimated to be about Rs.25,000 crore. Subsidy is nothing but tax payers money which has multiple developmental use. By supplying one subsidized cylinders every day to rich industrialist like Naveen Jindal, the oil companies did nothing but pushing some tax payers money to industrialists’ house.

There are many small shops were one can get LPG car filled with subsidized LPG. Many restaurants use subsidized LPG cylinders. Many marriage halls used domestic subsidized LPGs to cook food for thousands of people. The tax payer’s money went in drain. If this was curtailed we could have saved thousands of crore rupees and used it for development purpose.

Restricting subsidized LPG to 6 cylinders a year is a good move by Government of India. Six cylinders may be the minimum requirement for a small family of 4. On average one LPG connection per family got 8 cylinders a year last year. While getting 6 on subsidy a family can get another two cylinders by paying full amount. This will definitely curtail the misutilization of subsidized LPG.

For government, reducing the subsidy expenditure will help in maintaining lower fiscal deficit. Lower fiscal deficit lowers the external borrowing. In total, though it is viewed as a tough decision by the government will definitely help in country’s prosperity.

Government should take some more brave steps to pay subsidy amount directly to the beneficiary through their bank account. This UID- unique identification – Adhaar number based subsidy scheme is already under pilot run in Mysore. This will definitely give justice to both the tax payer’s money and subsidy.

Akhand Bharat- Dream and the Reality

Akhand Bharat is a dream of many Hindu organizations in India and abroad. They want establish a Hindu Nation by uniting the Indian subcontinent which includes Pakistan, Bangladesh and some times even up to Malaysia where there are traces of monarchy of Indian kings were present. I strongly believe this idea of Akhand Bharat is unrealistic and be harmful to the nation. Recently Narandra Modi has revealed another face of Akhand Bharat.

In his most famous interview to Shahid Siddiqui of Urdu weekly Nai Dunia, Narendra Modi expressed his views on Akhand Bharat “My dream is that from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, people should be ek and nek (one and good)... It is the imperialists in Pakistan who are running a campaign for Akhand Bharat, so that Pakistan, India and Bangladesh can become one and this can be a Muslim-majority country... These people want to place Indian Muslims on the frontline and create tension.”

In reply to this opinion working president of Vishwa Hindu Parshad Dr Pravin Thogadia tweeted “No Hindu votes to him after he said: Those who campaign for Akhand Bharat are Pakistani Imperialists: In interview given to Shahid Siddiqi”. This tweet shows the tensed relationship between the Hindu organization and Modi. But Narendra Modi is partly right in his opinion about the Akhand Bharat. If Pakistan and Bangladesh unites with India the situation in India worsens as the majority Muslims of these countries will be welcomed by
pseudo secularists of the country and the life of citizens of India becomes miserable. We are already experiencing the tension in Assam due to the soft corner towards the Bangladeshi Muslims in Assam.

But John R Schmidt who served as political counselor at the US embassy in Islamabad, in his latest book ‘The Unravelling - Pakistan in the Age of Jihad’ tells the day might come when Pakistan might be reabsorbed into India the political unrest it may face in the future. Islamic terrorists might be able to seize a warhead and either use it for nuclear blackmail. Then US and India will be left with no other alternative option than “destroy all that was left of the Pakistani armed forces through the use of air power, with the US providing the air power and India the bulk of ground forces” He also tells "Once the dust had settled, the Indians and their US allies would then face a critical political question: what to do about the areas of Pakistan that had been brought under their control," they might incorporate the occupied territories into India, bringing about the final unravelling of the Pakistani state.

If it happens, dream of Hindu organizations may partially come true. Nothing can be ruled off in the present situation of terrorism and unrest in Pakistan. But I wish it won't happen.

The Corporate Pressure: Sonia Gandhi is always known to have good relationship with corporates since from Bofors deal. Few important decisions of Pranab Mukharjee made the eyes of corporate red. He introduced retroactive tax in the 2012-13 budget, with regard to capital gains tax payable to the government on transfer of Indian corporate assets through Vodafone-style M&A deals held abroad. This provision angered British Prime Minister Tony Blair, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had taken up the issue directly with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. A report tells seven top US industry, trade and securities associations had sent written complaints against his 2012-13 budget to the US treasury secretary and secretary of state and wanted them to convey their concerns to the highest level of the UPA government. He was also keen in recovering the tax loss of Vodafone deal. So there was a corporate pressure to exit him from finance ministry to enjoy the loop holes of tax framework to enjoy the benefits of  tax heavens.


To make him exit from Finance Ministry: Sonia Gandhi was unhappy with Pranab Mukharjee for not convincing alleys in the recent decisions of finance ministry like the FDI in retail, foreign participation in pension fund management, foreign control in banking and insurance sectors and fuel price increase. A high inflation was seen during last couple of years leading to high interest rates which made industrial and development activities come down. This again resulted in a slow-down in FDI and FII inflows. So the prime minister and the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi were looking for the exit of Pranab Mukharjee from the finance ministry.

To decide the next prime minister: Yet another most important reason why Pranab Mukharjee should be the President. Definitely PM Mr Singh will make way for new face in prime minister's office in next general election. Pranab was a potential candidate after Singh. Congress does not have another unquestionable leader to replace Mr Singh as Pranab will be in Rashtrapati Bhavan. Rahul Gandhi's way to PMO will be clear now. Or it may be Sonia Gandhi, as Mr Kalam is not there to stop her from becoming PM.

Rajiv Gandhi and his relationships with KGB!

The base for this heading is a book called ‘The State Within A State: The KGB and its hold on Russia - Past, Present and Future’. This book is written by Dr. Yevgenia Markovna Albats, a famous Russian investigative journalist, chief editor of The New Times magazine.

The page No 223 of the book is very important for us, the Indians. It exposes the former Prime Minister Mr. Rajiv Gandhi and boosts the arguments that Mrs Antonio Maino aka Sonia Gandhi’s relationships with the KGB. The author writes “A letter signed by Viktor Chebrikov, who replaced Andropov as the KGB head in 1982 noted: "the USSR KGB maintains contact with the son of the Premier Minister Rajiv Gandhi [of India] ... R Gandhi expresses deep gratitude for the benefits accruing to the Prime Minister's family from the commercial dealings of the firm he controls in co-operation with the Soviet foreign trade organisations. R Gandhi reports confidentially that a substantial portion of the funds obtained through this channel are used to support the party of R Gandhi.” She does not simply writes these words, she gives the reference for this at page No. 380 as ‘25. KGB Archive f 5 op. 6. por. No. 12. D. 131. t. 1 1.d 103-104.’

She cited KGB notes describing "commercial dealings" of Rajiv Gandhi's family with Soviet foreign trade. She tells Rajiv Gandhi and his party were been paid by a Russian Company. It is well-known that there was Sonia Gandhi’s hand in every Indo—Soviet trade deal and defence purchases. That’s why Gandhi family needed Swiss Bank accounts. Obviously the person who brought Rajiv Gandhi to KGB contact is his girl fried then his wife Sonia Gandhi. She was also alleged to be the member of KGB and been appointed to trap Rajiv Gandhi.

It is not a new finding for the Indian Media. Times of India (June 27, 1992) and Hindu (July 4, 1992) reported regarding receipt of payments from KGB by Rajiv Gandhi and his family. I don’t think Mrs Albats’ book and her citation can be a cooked up story. Another reason to believe Mrs Albats is she was an official member of the Soviet government’s KGB Commission and had access to many KGB documents. Even Indian government can now obtain the copies of these documents.But nobody is raising their voice expect Subramanian Swamy of Janata Party. It is shameful for Indians to have people who have/had the relationship with the foreign spy agencies at the top positions of the country.

Gave a Model but Could not Became a Role Model

Twenty years ago, there was a closed economy called India! Having forex reserve not even sufficient for two weeks, having a huge debt and over helming import than export; were pushed our nation to the nearest point of the economic emergency. Banks and financial institutions had stopped recruiting, promoting and expansion; there was no support for the industries. The foreign investment in the country was very small, even negligible compared to todays. The in-house industries were restricted by the boundary of the country. We where insulated. The inside heat had no more space here and had started burning the country. There came the Rao-Manmohan model of economy. Then Prime Minister P V N Rao and Dr Man Mohan Singh played a vital role in bringing the stability.

There was a unstable, coalition government with the leadership of Mr P V Narasimha Rao. He had a vision and bravery to bring the revolutionary changes in the Indian Economy. He found Mr Singh is the bet suitable to handle such a crisis. He was a scholar, played the role of the governor of RBI and also as the Finance Secretary during crucial time. He had a privilege to sign on both Re 1 note and also notes of above Re 1 i.e. both currency notes and bank notes. He was undoubtedly a most suitable person. He became the union finance minister and Rao-Manmohan model was added to the curriculam of the economic students. Our footprints in the globalised economy started from there.

Our economy is not fully opened or fully closed. Rupee is not fully convertible or non convertible. We are at safer side. We are partially insulated and even protected against the lethal effect of the recession. A software engineer in this country earns in lakhs per month, a professional is able to earn a handsome income, banks like SBI, BOB has gone global, and the employees are well paid, the opportunities are huge. We are strong enough and growing stronger day by day. The credit should go to Dr Man Mohan Singh.

He has thousand of good qualities to write. He has done several achievements herever he is- from academics to the Prime Minister Office. Have you ever considered him as a role model? Our mothers tell the story and achievements of Dr A P J Abdul Kalam. We get thrilled by reading the stories of Sri A B Vajapayi. Whenever it comes to Singh we see him with a doubtful eye. It is just because his loyalty towards the fake (to differentiate the borrowed name from the Mahatma) Gandhi family. Without the slavery of the Vishakanya (of Subramaniam Swamy), we know, he could not have achieved the height. This make him a model who was such a bright to gave an economic model and finally bars him from being a role model for Indian youth.

Fundamental rights and Reservations

The mentioning of equal opportunities in employment and the reservations in the chapter of fundamental rights in the constitution of India created lot of confusions in judiciary, legislature and even for the executive wing. But still the opportunistic politics avoided the detailed discussion on the wish of the constitution regarding the reservations and the equal opportunities in education and employment.

Many believe that our constitution makers thought the reservations in negative sense. As there were lot of discriminations based on casts one born, they believed that it would be justified to extend the same for a period, not more than 10 years. Sardar Patel one of the chief architects of the Indian constitution said that "that the object of the House should be, as soon as possible and as rapidly as possible to drop these classifications and bring all to a level of equality"

The Indian constitution grants its citizens certain fundamental rights which are guaranteed by the constitution. Unlike any other legal rights, these fundamental rights are protected and enforced by the constitution. The fundamental rights can not be denied even by the government except in some special cases.

The constitution speaks of equal opportunities in employment and education to all the citizen of India without the discriminations on any ground. The related articles of the constitution read as follow which are self explanatory:

Article 16(1): There shall be equality of opportunity for all citizens in matters relating to employment or appointment to any office under the state

Article 16(2) No citizen shall on grounds only of religion, race, caste, sex, descent, place of birth, resident or any of them be ineligible for or discriminated against in any respect of any employment or office under the State.

Article 15(1): "The state shall not discriminate against any citizen on grounds only of religion, race, caste, sex, place of birth, or any of them"

Article 29[2]: No citizen shall be denied admission into any educational institution maintained by the State or receiving aid out of the State funds on ground only of religion, race, caste, language, or any of them.

In all these articles, the makers of our constitution speak about the equal opportunities and eradicating the discrimination on various grounds. The equal opportunities can be brought by increasing the competitiveness of the underprivileged citizens. Reservations in jobs will not create equal opportunities according to many scholars. Reservations are meant for the outcomes in employment opportunities, and not for the opportunities. Equal opportunities can be provided only through quality primary and secondary education which may also include special coaching and adequate assistance for any inadequately represented population groups.

There is a post reserved for some ‘community’ where there no candidate from that community applied. These seats were kept as backlogs though there the availability of suitable candidate is present from some other community. Don’t you think the employment opportunity is denied just because the second person is not from that reserved community? Isn’t it discrimination on the grounds of whatever mentioned in the constitution?

The wish of the constitution in bringing about the reservation has a wide meaning. In India we have seen a lot of discriminations on various grounds. There was lot of evil practices in our society. That too, we Indians have treated some people from particular communities as untouchable and saw as non human beings. There was a great inequality in our society. To support such people and give some opportunities for them and to bring them to the front row, the constitution wished for reservation. It also tells the reservation will not be against the fundamental rights mentioned above. The article about the reservations is as follow:

Article 16(4) "Nothing in this article shall prevent the State from making any provision for the reservation of posts in favour of any backward class of citizens, which in the opinion of state is not adequately represented in the services under the state"

The reservations in present scenario are not able to fulfill the wish of the constitution. A candidate from a reserved class becomes an MLA from a reserved assembly seat. Once he becomes an MLA his status got rises and enjoys every benefit an MLA from other forward communities enjoys. His cast does not matter for making money or bar him from using powers!! But his cast tag will continue with him. He expires and his son who have enjoyed every benefit that a non backward citizen enjoys, has enough money dominates the backward people of his own community and makes lobby, gets elected and enjoys all the benefits that has to be given to backward people though he is not backward now only for the reason he had born in that class. The other people of his own community will stay in the same situation even after 50 years from now making our politicians to think the same kind of reservation to be continued.

Now our judiciary has to interpret the constitution regarding the opportunities, backward class of people and reservations as it did interpret some of the fundamental rights in 1970s .

There are confusions over the true religion of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of independent India, and the biggest sin of the great country. Some tells Nehru’s grandfather Gangadhar was a Muslim with the name Giyasuddin Gazi and changed his name to escape from British army. (Don’t mistake him to freedom fighter, nobody mentioned that) Leave it apart come to Indira Gandhi treating she was born to Hindus.

Indira Gandhi studies in Shantiniketan. She was alone there as her father Nehru was busy in getting big fame without contributing to the nation. Indira was known to be seductive and caught the attention of Feroz Khan. Kamala Nehru, Indira’s mother was totally against the proposed marriage. But Indira converted to Islam and secretly married to Feroz Khan. To cheat the people of the country the tag of Gandhi added to newly wed couple. Only the name changed to confuse the people of India, but she was practicing Islam.

Rajiv Gandhi was born to Indira and Feroz khan and was a muslim by birth. Sanjay was believed to be born to Mohammad Yunus as Indira and Feroz were staying apart after the birth of Rajiv. Sanjay was initially named Sanjiv but to ascape from the arrest in London a fresh passport was issued to him with the name Sanjay.

Sanjay was a playboy. He made Menaka Anand pre-marriage pregnant and was threatened by Menaka’s father to marry her. She was a sexy model at than time! We don’t know what religion they practiced, but their son Varun Gandhi is growing as a Hindu leader. It is really surprising.

Rajiv Gandhi, we all know now that he changed his religion to become a Catholic to marry Sania Maino of Turin, Italy now ruling Congress Party with the name Sonia Gandhi. Rajiv became Roberto. His daughter's name is Bianca and son's name is Raul an website by Sikh community tells. Quite cleverly the same names are presented to the people of India as Priyanka and Rahul. Rajiv mentioned in a Press conference that he was a Parsi. Nobody of his ancestors were Parsi except his paternal grand mother who was a Parsi and converted to Islam. The whole family was ready to cheat the people even with creating the confusion over the religion they believe.
And surprise of surprises, Rajiv was even cremated as per vedic rites in full view of India's public. This is the Nehru dynasty that India worships and now an Italian leads a prestigious national party because of just one qualification - being married into the Nehru family

Nonody bothers if they practice whatever the religion they like. But using religion tags and the names of great legends like Gandhi which were unexpectedly, mistakenly attached to them to confuse innocent people like Indians who strongly believe in their own religion can not be accepted. Wake up dear Indian.

So, who is the merchant of death?

It was during the Gujarat assembly election in 2007 the dictator of Congress Mrs Sonia Gandhi called Narendra Modi as merchant of death- maut ka saudagar. She called Modi a merchant of death for the 2002 riots in the state in the aftermath of the Godhra train carnage. Later it became a big issue of the campaign and BJP took the full advantage of these words. Now Mr Modi has sent the words back to Mrs Gandhi. This time Soniaji is not in the position to defend herself or the party or her expired husband Rajiv Gandhi by revealing the truth of who is the real maut ka saudagar. Modi's question is "Why is Sonia Gandhi silent on her party and government's failure in ensuring justice to the Bhopal gas tragedy victims? Now will she explain who is the maut ka saudagar?,"

To be with the facts it is the congress which is the real maut ka saudagar. It was the failure of the central government and Madhya Pradesh state government to handle the Bhopal case. There is not a single person to be blamed on this issue. Credit of Bhopal tragedy goes to the entire system called Congress Party. From Rajiv Gandhi to Arjun Singh; if they are keen to provide the justice it could not have happened. The case had not stretched like a chewing gum. Not only in this case, there are many incidents where congress is acting as the merchant of death. Punjab Riots directly points to congress. The case is not yet resolved, the survivals are still waiting for the justice. The genocide in Kashmir is due to the sins of Mr Nehru and his subsequent family members. Nehru did the Himalayan blunder. Even today the central government does not want to tackle the menace of nexalites. They enjoy doing cabinet meetings after the every nexal attacks and murder of hundreds of soldiers, police and civilians. Obviously it is the responsibility of Mrs Gandhi to tell who is the merchant of death?

LETTER TO PRIME MINISTER

I received this mail from my friend Santhosh B. J. Don't know, who has written this letter. But I thought it is publishable in my blog. Thanks to original writer.

Dear Mr. Prime minister

I am a typical mouse from Mumbai. In the local train compartment which has capacity of 100 persons, I travel with 500 more mouse. Mouse at least squeak but we don't even do that.

Today I heard your speech. In which you said 'NO BODY WOULD BE SPARED'. I would like to remind you that fourteen years has passed since serial bomb blast in Mumbai took place. Dawood was the main conspirator. Till today he is not caught. All our bolywood actors, our builders, our Gutka king meets him but your Government can not catch him. Reason is simple; all your ministers are hand in glove with him. If any attempt is made to catch him everybody will be exposed. Your statement 'NOBODY WOULD BE SPARED' is nothing but a cruel joke on this unfortunate people of India .

Enough is enough. As such after seeing terrorist attack carried out by about a dozen young boys I realize that if same thing continues days are not away when terrorist will attack by air, destroy our nuclear reactor and there will be one more Hiroshima .

We the people are left with only one mantra. Womb to Bomb to Tomb. You promised Mumbaikar Shanghai what you have given us is Jalianwala Baug.

Today only your home minister resigned. What took you so long to kick out this joker? Only reason was that he was loyal to Gandhi family. Loyalty to Gandhi family is more important than blood of innocent people, isn't it?

I am born and bought up in Mumbai for last fifty eight years. Believe me corruption in Maharashtra is worse than that in Bihar . Look at all the politician, Sharad Pawar, Chagan Bhujbal, Narayan Rane, Bal Thackray , Gopinath Munde, Raj Thackray, Vilasrao Deshmukh all are rolling in money. Vilasrao Deshmukh is one of the worst Chief minister I have seen. His only business is to increase the FSI every other day, make money and send it to Delhi so Congress can fight next election. Now the clown has found new way and will increase FSI for fisherman so they can build concrete house right on sea shore. Next time terrorist can comfortably live in those house , enjoy the beauty of sea and then attack the Mumbai at their will.

Recently I had to purchase house in Mumbai. I met about two dozen builders. Everybody wanted about 30% in black. A common person like me knows this and with all your intelligent agency & CBI you and your finance minister are not aware of it.. Where all the black money goes? To the underworld isn't it? Our politicians take help of these goondas to vacate people by force. I myself was victim of it. If you have time please come to me, I will tell you everything.

If this has been land of fools, idiots then I would not have ever cared to write you this letter. Just see the tragedy, on one side we are reaching moon, people are so intelligent and on other side you politician has converted nectar into deadly poison. I am everything Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Schedule caste, OBC, Muslim OBC, Christian Schedule caste, Creamy Schedule caste only what I am not is INDIAN. You politician have raped every part of mother India by your policy of divide and rule.

Take example of former president Abdul Kalam. Such a intelligent person, such a fine human being. You politician didn't even spare him. Your party along with opposition joined the hands, because politician feels they are supreme and there is no place for good person.

Dear Mr Prime minister you are one of the most intelligent person, most learned person. Just wake up, be a real SARDAR. First and foremost expose all selfish politician. Ask Swiss bank to give name of all Indian account holder. Give reins of CBI to independent agency. Let them find wolf among us.. There will be political upheaval but that will better than dance of death which we are witnessing every day. Just give us ambient where we can work honestly and without fear. Let there be rule of law. Everything else will be taken care of.

Choice is yours Mr. Prime Minister. Do you want to be lead by one person or you want to lead the nation of 100 Crore people?
